FiSScNät

FiSScNät is a social networking site for swedish speaking scouts in Finland, where people can collaborate and exchange ideas and information. Features include blogs, forums, event calendar, contact information derived from the external member database, and pdf-archive of publications including the member magazine issued every second month. Soon-to-be introduced features are Google Maps integration for all sorts of geographic locations, as well as ability to read email lists through the website.
Scout.ax
August 2006
A social networking site for scouts on Ã…land. I redesigned it completly in August 2006, leaving my custom built PHP-based platform in favour of the Drupal CMS. Furthermore the site got a new, nicer domain name and was renamed accordingly to Scout.ax.
Ax is the TLD of Ã…land.

From January 2005 on I am web editor of the national top organisation coordinating scouting activities among swedish speaking scouts in Finland. The website uses WebGui as CMS.
Sjöscoutkommitten
January 2004 - December 2006
In 2004 I became a member of Sjöscoutkommitten, a group within Finlands Svenska Scouter r.f. reponsible for coordinating sea scout activities among swedish-speaking scouts in Finland. The group had a website from before that I became maintainer of. I kept the layout almost unchanged but added fresh content and functionality to edit the HTML-code of pages through a web browser.
Ã…SD Forum

An internet-based meetingplace for scouts on Ã…land. My intentions with this site were to make the services of my own troops site available for the other troops on Ã…land. The site got positive responses from Ã…lands scoutdistrikt, the head scout organisation on Ã…land, and was therefore offered to them as their site in return for some economical support if needed.
LAIV 2000
May 2000 - September 2000
LAIV 2000 (Lars's Aland Island Volley) was a volleyball tournament arranged by a group of scouts on Ã…land in September 2000. We invited scout teams from both Sweden and Finland to participate. I made the marketing website including a simple signup system written in Perl.
Sjöscoutkåren Spejarna r.f.
January 1998 - May 2001
Website of my scout troop. The site was started in 1997 by Henrik Jansson. I got the responsibility of maintaining it in 1998, did some redesign and implemented a dynamic layout using Perl.
I later added a Perl based automated catalog of email adresses, to day-to-day communication for scouts om Ã…land. Verificaton of the addresses upon registration was implemented by sending a confirmation code with sendmail.
The site was taken down in 2001 due to hosting problems, reappeared in 2004 and is currently maintained by Alex Björkholm.
