Datateknologerna vid Ã…bo Akademi rf.
Soon after I started studying Computer Science at Ã…bo Akademi University I was asked if I wanted to do some web-related work for DaTe, the organisation for CS students at the Faculty och Chemical Engineering.
In 2003 I got the honorable title spider-man and my mission was to do maintainance on the DaTe website when needed. As the workload was far from killing me I decided to continue at DaTe:s service in 2004.
The Ã…land Maritime Museum
I did a website redesign for the Maritme Museum in Mariehamn which included a Perl based system for changing language and keeping the same layout on every page.
Lars i Nuet
The Lars i Nuet site was the virtual home for a mysterious character named Lars Jansson.
On the Lars i Nuet site people were allowed to ask Lars whatever they pleased and Lars gave them answers that could change their lives forever, if they only managed to understand his deep wisdoms.
This humourous site was built around a simple guestbook written in Perl. The site was discountinued when the hosting company ceased offering free hosting. Nobody ever got to know who Lars Jansson really was.
LAIV 2000
LAIV 2000 (Lars's Aland Island Volley) was a volleyball tournament arranged by a group of scouts on Ã…land in September 2000. We invited scout teams from both Sweden and Finland to participate. I made the marketing website including a simple signup system written in Perl.
Sjöscoutkåren Spejarna r.f.
Website of my scout troop. The site was started in 1997 by Henrik Jansson. I got the responsibility of maintaining it in 1998, did some redesign and implemented a dynamic layout using Perl.
I later added a Perl based automated catalog of email adresses, to day-to-day communication for scouts om Ã…land. Verificaton of the addresses upon registration was implemented by sending a confirmation code with sendmail.
The site was taken down in 2001 due to hosting problems, reappeared in 2004 and is currently maintained by Alex Björkholm.
